Actress Aishwarya Rai has signed up to play the female lead in a Karan Johar next film opposite Ranbir Kapoor. How thrilled is she about teaming up with the current pin-up boy of Bollywood?
In a latest interview, Aishwarya Rai has opened up about Ranbir Kapoor, with whom she is set to work next year in Karan Johar’s directorial film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
For starters, Aishwarya admitted that she has known Ranbir ever since she worked in Rishi Kapoor’s film Aa Ab Laut Chalein, in which Ranbir worked as an assistant.
“Ranbir has always been full of beans. He’s always been super spirited. He was (as a teen) very determined to be a part of the movies. He knew exactly how it would roll, and it pretty much has.”
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor as an actor presently, Aishwarya said, “He’s adorable on screen. He’s brilliant. So it would be wonderful working with him.”
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will also star Anushka Sharma. The film will roll next year and release on 3 June, 2016.
