There have been various rumors regarding Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback into the Bollywood industry. Previous reports stated that she already agreed to work on an action thriller film and it looks like directors are lining up to work with the actress.
After being out of the Bollywood scene for about three years after getting married and having baby Aaradhya, the former Miss World is ready to get back into it. Reports confirmed her comeback film to be Sanjay Gupta’s “Jazbaa,” and now word has it that Rai will also be working with Anushka Sharma in the future.
Karan Johar has reportedly confirmed Rai for his upcoming film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and has roped in Sharma as well as Saif Ali Khan as well.
Rai is reportedly looking forward to working with Sharma and expressed that not only has she waited years to work with the director, but is excited to work with the actress too.
“And before you all (media) do any masti, Anushka I am also looking forward to working with you,” said Rai during a press conference.
The “PK” actress announced that she is the main lead of Johar’s film and will start filming the movie summer or 2015.
Johar reportedly offered a role to Khan a few months ago and he seemed to have liked the story, giving it a nod. The movie, which is about a take on love, life and friendships, already stars Ranbir Kapoor as a lead.
There were also rumors that Rai was going to be working with Shahrukh Khan as they were ropped in to play the leading roles in “Chalti Ka Naam Gadi,” written by Kishore Kumar.
While no official statement has been made, Rai, who reportedly replaced Kajol for the role, hinted towards the possible project.
During a recent media interaction, the former Miss World was asked if she was doing Shetty’s film, to which she replied, “It will be prudent for me to make any announcements without the team.”
